The route starts from the public road at Leasey Bridge and heads generally westwards along the disused railway line to Marquis Lane (public road). Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Wheathampstead] 97.  Status: Bridleway.  Definitive Map sheet: 56 Commences from Harpenden Town boundary N of Piggotshill Wood thence generally E along former railway line to junction with county road at Leasey Bridge.
