This route starts from the High Street (public road) in Walkern and continues generally northwestwards to Weston 33 bridleway. Part is recorded as Walkern 25, part as Weston 30 and part is unrecorded.

We need a volunteer to photograph this route for the Access and Riding Rights of Way Survey. It's easy - just take photographs (safely) when you use the path. Find out more!

BHS As part of the British Horse Society's work to record paths before Path Extinguishment Day, it was noted that this route appeared to be an old road. The historical evidence showed a continuous route between High Street and Weston 33 bridleway, so an application was made in 2013 to record the route as part restricted byway and part bridleway. Because of a planning application, the County Council started to investigate and produced an Investigation Report in 2018. However, when the planning application was withdrawn, the investigation was put back in the county council's queue.
