BHS The southern-most part of Therfield 12 forms part of the ancient "Thieves' Way". It is a policy aim to re-establish a way approximating to the old route, to be known as the Eve Way.
BHS As part of the British Horse Society's work to record paths before Path Extinguishment Day, it was spotted that historical evidence showed a continuous route as an old road, so an application was made in 2017 to record the route as a restricted byway.
