This section of the Stevenage Horse and Pony Route runs from the Hitchin Road at Corey's Mill to North Road and a new (2025) Pegasus Crossing.

At the time of the 2025 Access Survey (9 Feb 25), the path was unobstructed (although some width encroachment was present). It was only signed at one end.

BHS Developers wanted to extinguish the part of Stevenage 90 BW that fell across their land. The BHS, with support from the OSS and CTC, objected on the grounds that no alternative route was provided. A public path creation agreement was signed to create Stevenage 103 BW when the Stevenage 90 extinguishment order was confirmed. This was a significant gain for the recording and legal protection of the Stevenage Horse and Pony Route.

Legal History
1983: The route is shown in Stevenage Borough Council leaflet as part of Phase 1 SHPR which is stated as being open for use.
26 Jan 2001: The Corey's Mill Bridleway Public Path Creation Agreement between Hertfordshire County Council, the Commission for New Towns, East and North Hertfordshire National Health Service Trust, and Stevenage Sports Club Limited under s.25 Highways Act 1980 created this bridleway.
8 Dec 2004: This route is described as part of the existing Stevenage Horse and Pony Route on the Stevenage Local Plan map.
12 Nov 2023: Path found to be completely obstructed by development works. HCC asked whether any order is in force to allow such obstruction.
9 Feb 2025: Path found to be open again. Pegasus crossing at eastern end now fully operational.
14 Feb 2025: Council fingerpost sign not present on 9 Feb 25, so it was reported to Hertfordshire County Council, reference 401004547241.
