This route starts on Luton White Hill (public road) and runs generally northwards to Luton Road (public road). We need a volunteer to photograph this route for this year's Access and Riding Rights of Way Survey. It's easy - just take photographs (safely) when you use the path. Find out more!

Legal History 9 Nov 2017: Landowner Deposit under s.31(6) Highways Act 1980 shows Offley 51 as byway but it is outside the relevant land ownership boundary.

Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Offley] 51.  Status: Byway open to all traffic.  Definitive Map sheet: 20 Commences at county road Luton Road at TL 1305 2662 thence generally S for approx 950m to a junction with county road Luton White Hill at TL 1309 2570. Width: varies between 11 and 15.4m Maintainability This route is maintainable at the public expense because it was a highway before 1835.
