Legal History 20 Jun 1953: The route was recorded as CRB (Carriage Road used as a Bridleway) on the original definitive statement. DM sheet DM3-11 (Herts 25 SE; SP91SE).

Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Northchurch] 37.  Recorded Status: Bridleway.  Definitive Map sheet: 52 Commences at junction with county road N of Broomfield Spring thence SW across Common to junction with BR32 and BR34 E of Norcott Hill. Maintainability This route is maintainable at the public expense because it was a footpath or bridleway existing before 30 Apr 1959.
