Annotated map reproduced courtesy of Googlemaps.		 This route, shown in red on the plan, runs from Baldock Lane, almost opposite from Letchworth 44 BW, to a verge leading to Letchworth 4 bridleway.

At the time of the BHS 2021 Access Survey (18 Aug 21), the route was easy to use but, being part of the road network, did not need to be and was not signed as a riding route. A branch on the verge between the northern end of the red route and the start of Letchworth 4 meant that riders would need to use Baldock Lane for a few paces, so take care.

This route, with Letchworth 4 bridleway, is a good alternative should the greenway route be closed for any reason.
