This route starts from the Cole Green Way (Part 1) and continues generally eastwards under the A414 Hatfield Road to a junction of Hertingfordbury 27 bridleway and Cole Green Way (Part 2). Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Hertingfordbury] 28.  Recorded Status: Footpath.  Definitive Map sheet: 58 Commences on course of old Welwyn Garden City to Hertford Railway line (Cole Green Way) at TL 2763 1092 at junction with BR 27 thence W along Cole Green Way under A414 Cole Green Bypass to TL 2754 1093 thence SE to junction with bypass at TL 2758 1090. Maintainability This route is maintainable at the public expense because it was a footpath or bridleway existing before 30 Apr 1959.
