This route starts on Mill Lane, opposite Brent Pelham and Meesden 1 bridleway, and runs generally southwards to join the road that leads to Brent Pelham. Legal History 2 Feb 1953: Meesden 1 was recorded as a bridleway on the original definitive map and statement. DM sheet DM1-05 (Herts 9 SE). When the parishes joined, the path was renumbered as Brent Pelham and Meesden 1.

Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Brent Pelham and Meesden] 1.  Status: Bridleway.  Definitive Map sheet: 16 Commences from county road at Meesden Green thence S along Willoughby Lane to join county road near the Kennels.
