This route starts on Main Road (public road) and heads northwestwards to Gobions Lane (public road) opposite Bramfield 2 bridleway. Legal History 1839: Part of Bramfield 12 BW (where close to parish boundary) shown uncoloured on the Stapleford tithe map and free from apportionment. 2 Feb 1953: The route was recorded as a bridleway on the original definitive map and statement. DM sheet DM2-20 (Herts 29 NW).

Definitive Statement (4 Dec 2015) Path: [Bramfield] 12.  Recorded Status: Bridleway.  Definitive Map sheet: 44 Commences at junction with county road by Place Farm Lodge thence NW past Bramfield House to parish boundary opposite Row Wood. Maintainability This route is maintainable at the public expense because it was a footpath or bridleway existing before 30 Apr 1959.
